What is Canine Therapeutic Massage?
Canine massage therapy is the use of fingers, and hands as tools to manipulate the soft tissues, or stimulate at the muscular and/or neurological level of the dog to improve healing and recovery. Massage can be beneficial to dogs of all breeds, ages and sizes. Canine massage is not a substitute for veterinary care. In fact if your dog has any medical issue I will request that you visit your vet before having any massage sessions.

About the Masseuse
My name is Cathy Meunier. I moved to Panama City in 2005 when I married my wonderful husband Chris. I am the mom of 4 beautiful talented daughter and the fur-mom of 4 funny, rascally dachshunds, Boo 11 years old, Sophie 10 years old, Ollie 10 years old, and Penny 7 years old. I have volunteered with rescues for years, fostering pups and helping them heal and find their forever families and home. Now that our daughters are grown, and now empty Nester's, it was time to follow a special dream of mine, to receive my certification in Canine Therapeutic Massage, which I did through Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage.
I love animals, they are special little beings, they deserve comfort and love and it is my passion to help them achieve relief of pain, calmness and a good quality of life.

Veterinary care is crucial to your pet's health. Canine therapeutic massage does not replace veterinarian check-ups, diagnosis, or medical treatment. If you pet has any medical condition it is very important to clear canine massage for your pet with your veterinarian prior to scheduling massages. I am happy to coordinate care with your pet's veterinarian.
